My youngest, Squirrel, thinks that John Wayne hung the moon.  He practically knows the movie McLintock by heart.  We have 9 John Wayne movies on DVD and all the DVDs recently made the 9 hour trip to Kansas City for the Junior National Hereford Expo.

Ten Reasons to Love Ouiser Boudreaux

Why Steel Magnolias didn't receive more Oscar nods is beyond my thinking.  This movie is an all time classic.....only if you are a woman.  The performances of Olympia Dukakis, Shirley MacLaine and Dolly Parton are comedic masterpieces.  So great, that I sat through another performance of this classic movie a few weeks ago.
