Bugs' science experiment was to prove that a dog's mouth is just as dirty as human hands.

What he found out was the Uncle Ben's cell phone and the keyboard at grandma's house were other things that were just as dirty as his hands.

His grandfathers' determined that he most likely cultured some form of strep. Oh and he received an A+ on the experiement!
