Miscellany Monday

Random thoughts on this Monday morning.

1. Water or lack thereof -  I'm over it.  Tired of watering flowers. Tired of watering my garden.  My daisies look like someone took a torch to them. 

I had to post a picture of a rainbow......I'm concerned that we will forget what one looks like!

2. State Fair - my house looks like a war zone right now. Packing for another cattle show.  But I don't have just suitcases lying around, no, I have coolers and boxes with food in them. I refuse to pay for State Fair priced food for five days, so this mom hauling in her George Foremen and her crockpot.  I'll starve before I fork over $$$ for over priced food.

3. Barefoot Blue Jean Night - I think my children are going to wear out my ipod playing this song.  But I have to admit, it's a pretty good one!

4. Back to school - I am not ready for this at all. Where did summer go?

5. Sale time - The photos have been taken, the footnotes are written, and hotel blocks have been made. A few more weeks of waiting and then it's time for cleaning and food shopping.  Oh the joys of having a production sale!
