Indian corn and pumpkins and gourds and apples.....a few of the things I love about fall.
I decided that since this is the time of the year that my So and I don't have dates.....you know, harvest, cattle sales, harvest, more cattle sales, and getting cattle ready for the North American....ok enough of my ranting. Anyhow, I decided to set up a date.....my hot glue gun and some indian corn!!
I am fortunate to have a dear childhood friend that tried a new venture......she raised indian corn, gourds and pumpkins. She's started a little business and is selling them. She asked me if I wanted any indian corn and I jumped at the chance.
With raising sons and cattle, come journeys full of adventure, mischief, and laughter.

BOOtiful Pumpkins
I love fall!
There is not another season I like to decorate for anymore than fall.....probably because you can leave the decorations out for multiple occassions - Halloween & Thanksgiving. Now that life is finally returning to normal and slowing down. I can start being crafty again. And cooking again.
I found this cute idea on the internet and couldn't resist making one of my own.

Friends........Save Your Wine Corks
What a creative idea and constructive use of wine corks. Now I have the perfect reason for my husband the next time he asks me why I am drinking a glass of wine......cause I need to make a jewelry holder!
